We recently attended an open house at baby's school. He was so excited to show us his art work, his math and his writing book. Next was his journal. The kids write in their journal periodically and what a revelation this was.
Baby had a bad day as his sister hates him and was mean to him, baby had a good day because his sister shared with him, baby has a poor day because his sister would not talk to him, his sister hates his squeaky voice. A common theme here?
I made Firstborn read everyone of these entries to see if that would hit home. Her response?...I don't hate you baby, You just are really annoying!

Things that are important in my life
- My family - by that I mean my absolute gorgeous children who make my life worth living and my husband who is my utter soul mate.
- Faith - Whether it is my faith in Life or my faith in God, without faith what do we have?
- The written word - Books, papers, celebrity rags without the written word we are nothing and get nowhere in this world
- Food - anyone who has even come in brief contact with me knows I love food, from Greasy Egg and Chips served in a cafe in England to a fine meal of vegetarian delight, I LOVE food!
- Animals - I feel animals are on earth to show us how we should really treat each other. Animals continue to show kindness toward their fellow kind even when they have been wronged, only kill when truly needed such as for food or protection and only occasionally devour their mate. That's why I am a vegetarian and love all animals (though I am a tiny bit scared of mice, just a little!)
- I will be adding to this list as I go on but for now being a Blogger virgin this will do!
